2015 - 20c - Australia Remembers Coo-ee march

On the 10th October 1915, 26 young men left their hometown of Gilgandra - near Dubbo NSW, in a recruiting march effort to join the Australian Imperial Force (AIF). The gesture spoke for a nation that wished so emphatically to contribute to Commonwealth efforts in the First World War, which was being fought across the glode, they became known as the Coo-ees.

The Royal Australian Mint has struck a cupro-nickel uncirculated 20 cent featuring moving imagery of the Coo-ee Marchers.
