Set of 10 $2 Commemorative Coins loose in a bag (All coins are CIRCULATED)
You will recieve a RANDOM selection of 10 Commemorative $2 coins - all coins have been removed from circulation and are in a circulated condition. Coins will either be loose or in a cardboard 2x2 flip.
Each set of coins will include at least one of the following four coins from 2013, 2014, 2015 :
- 2013: 60th Anniversary of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II Coronation (Mintage: 1.0 million)
- 2014: Remembrance Day "Green Dove" (Mintage: 1.85 million)
- 2015: Remembrance Day "In Flanders Fields" (Orange) (Mintage: 2.15 million)
- 2015: Lest We Forget "War Graves" (Mintage: 1.46 million)
Australian $2 commemorative coins are the most highly collected decimal currency in the country. Since the Royal Australian Mint (RAM) released the first coloured $2 coin in 2012, these unique circulating and uncirculated pieces have been highly popular and driven an ongoing national collecting phenomenon. Not only are the coins unique, colourful and admired for their beautiful artwork, but they can be hard to find. Standard $2 coins average 28 million minted per year where as rare commemoratives are capped around 2 million or fewer. The four coloured $2 commemorative coins released into circulation between 2013 and 2015 represent some of the lowest-mintage and most iconic early issues in the history of Australian coin collecting.
