The Royal Australian Mint has struck and rolled a red coloured Two Dollar to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Gallipoli during World War I. This special coin features a ring of poppies amongst crosses to mark the fallen and a red circle surrounding the solemn words ‘Lest We Forget’.

Issued as part of the official Anzac Centenary Coin Program. Capturing history, service and sacrifice of Australians at War with a striking reverse design paying tribute to the Brave ANZAC Soldiers who fought at Gallipoli. Commemorating 100 years since the landing at Anzac Cove.
