2015 $1 Alphabet Frosted Uncirculated Carded Coins - Sold Individual

The 2015 Alphabet Coin Collection was a major release by the Royal Australian Mint (RAM) that marked the very first time the mint issued a full 26-coin A-to-Z dollar series. Designed by Bronwyn King, the theme of the 2015 Alphabet Coin series is Australian Animals and Nature. Each letter of the alphabet corresponds to a specific Australian animal, paired with a playful rhyme and a hidden object game on the presentation card.

Inspired by detailed puzzle books like Animalia, each coin features a large, color-printed letter integrated with an Australian animal and also conceals several other items starting with that same letter. For example, the Letter A coin features an Ant alongside a hidden apple, arrow, and arachnid, while the Letter I coin features an Ibis alongside a hidden igloo, iron, islands, and ice cream. These hidden elements require a magnifying glass to spot clearly

A – Ant

B – Bilby

C – Cockatoo

D – Dingo

E – Echidna

F – Flying Fox

G – Gecko

H – Hermit Crab

I – Ibis

J – Jellyfish
